If the brake fluid is contaminated with petroleum product, ALL rubber parts must be replaced and all steel lines must be flushed and dried. This is about the only repair that could cost $1100.00. As the rubber parts expand and get mushy, they block off fluid paths and will prevent fluid from returning back to the master cylinder. This will keep one caliper applied. It only affects one because the problem is so severe, you have to get it fixed before the contamination has time to affect a second or third wheel.
