computer reset after battery change?

my car cuts off on me a lot and normally restarts today it cut off cant restart before that happened my diagnostic system (key ignition reading codes) gave me a code 12 battery disconnect recently if the computer on my car was not reset will that cause it to stall or shut off if so how do i reset computer

Was the battery disconnected? It sounds like you may have a intermittent short in the battery here is a test to help you confirm the issue.
