1989 Chrysler 5th Avenue V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Installed new Fuel pump + filter. Blow compressed air thru gas lines From front and back, rebuilt carb. I prime carb with gas a few times to get her going. Once she starts she'll set there idling for a while and then dies out and wont restart unless I pour gas down the carb. What gives?

Can you hear the fuel pump running? Either something has come apart and isn't allowing the pump to pick up fuel, the new pump is bad, or there is no power to it.

Check to see if you can hear it prime. If you can't check the fuel pump relay to make sure it is getting power. If it is, then you need to remove the tank again and see if there is power to the pump.
