Neon 2002. 37,300 mileage. Automatic Transmission. I'm driving my Neon and it behaves good. When i stop the car, revolutions drop from 900-1000 rpm to 500 rpm and i can feel a big vibration. It happens when i'm in direct, first shift or third shift (D, 1, 3). If i turn to neutral (N) problem dissapears.
The temporary solution that i have found is very simple. Just turning on air conditioning system, and revolutions turn to 900-100 rpm even if i'm in D.
My car has all services needed.
Can you give me some possibles causes?
