Engine Performance problem
2006 Chrysler 300 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 24.127 miles

I have a Chrysler 300 touring w/24,127 miles my wife wrecked her car over a 40yard cliff, anyways she left it runnin down at the bottom (location:W.V.) for a good while when i showed up i went down to turn it off and the gauge was in the red and little bit of an odor steaming out of the back. I turned it off and the next morning i went back to meet the tow company and started it and it started,its got a rough idle now i feel the engine is stressed and im going to have problems later in time if not soon. I want the insurance to put new engine in it there saying they can tell by listening to it. I think there full of it. Please let me know what test i can run or scan tool, or maybe a Dyno. Please Help thanks Kyle.
