Hello,

The first thing I would do is scan the computer for codes to see what comes up.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/checking-a-service-engine-soon-or-check-engine-light-on-or-flashing

If no codes come up the next place I would go is the auto shut down relay.

Here is a guide and wiring diagrams so you can do some testing.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-an-electrical-relay-and-wiring-control-circuit

Please run some tests and get back to us so we can continue helping you.

Best, Ken

If it's not a security issue see below:

**No crank at all/nothing/nada when key is engage to starting position

Could be the starter, starter relay, park and neutral switch/transmission position switch and ignition switch assuming the battery condition and connections are good. Note:If it doesn't apply disregard.

First thing, check the engine oil (correct as needed).
Try jump starting the car (just to see if it will turn over, this will help to see if the engine is locked up).
If your battery and starter are in good shape (or jump starting doesn't work) try using a socket and breaker bar on the center bolt of the crankshaft pulley) to turn the engine by hand [you should be able to turn the engine two revolutions in each direction] again this is done to check to see if the engine is locked up.

Dear Sir,I have a 2005 chrysler 300c Hemi and the AC Evaporator leaks gas, so the dash panel was removed in order to remove the evaporator and after the evaporator was replaced, the dash panel was reinstalled and when I tried to start the car it could not start, it turns and all the lights come up but it does not start nor crank. What will be the cause?

Now all the lights come on the dash but there is no sign of the starter trying to engage or turn over. There is a buzz under the dash.

but now all that happens is the engine lights come on on the dash and it makes not attempt to start. Will a fuel sensor cause this to happen? If so where do Iook?

If all these codes came on at once, I think it is something other than the throttle body. To me, it sounds like an electrical issue. Have you checked body grounds to make sure they are clean and tight? Also, make sure connections at the TB are clean and tight.

Hey GABRIEL,

Its also sounds like it could be the computer itself they had problems with those in that car, but you might what to check for a shorted injector which will do the same thing, here is a guide to help you.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-test-a-fuel-injector

The system ground all be at the intake manifold and the engine block near the starter.

Let me know what you find.

Best, Ken

I was driving to the store to put gas, while turning in, my car engine just instantly cut off. My music was loud, so the only reason I noticed was because my steering wheel locked up. Upon turning the music down I had realized the engine had cut off, all the electrical fully functional, and this was the first time this has ever happened in my 3 years of owning the car. I cranked it back up, it showed signs of a funny start it had never showed before. So I fill up (engine off) and I proceed to my friends house, about 1 mile away. Upon acceleration when the throttle was pushed it made an odd clicking sound. The whole mile to my friends was filled with akwrd response to the gas. We make it there, and I turn the car off for about 10/20 minutes , and this time the engine would simply not turn on. I tried about 4 times and half of the starts sounded almost tired, half of them sounded normal with simply no response. So I leave the car alone for about 30 minutes, when I returned and tried one last time to turn it on, abrah kadabrah, its on. However, the gas in idle, and drive still made the odd clicking sound. So I left it over night at my buddies and will possibly pick it up later today. Any thoughts?

Can you have the car scanned for codes and let me know the exact code numbers not code descriptions? That could help lead us to the problem also actual fuel pressure readings? With some testing etc hard to say whats going.Battery cables clean and tight?Alternator charging?

I'd make sure the battery has a full charge and the cables are clean and tight.

Then I would test the circuits at the starter relay, under the hood. Make sure the tranny is in park or neutral before testing.

Electrical problem
2005 Chrysler 300 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 11200 miles

Hi i took my chrysler 300 in to get checked out about an electrical problem. Tire Warehouse was able to find that the SKREEM Module is drawing power causing a problem starting the vehicle. When turning the key to start the vehicle even after boosting the vehicle the car still does not start. Does this sound like it would be the problem, if so how much does it usually cost to replace a skreem module?

THANKSS!!!

There's no such thing as a SKREEM in your car. I suggest you take your car to AutoZone and have it scanned for free.

If you get back with me with the specific code, I'll help you from there

When I start the car it will run for about three seconds and then just shut off. After three or four tries, it will either turn on for good or not even try. It will act like it is dead or has no juice at all.

Are there any security indicators on or flashing when you try to start it?
Do you have another key you can try?

When I disconnect and the re-connect the throttle it starts right up. I am under the impression I need to re-learn idle.

You need to stop doing that. You are just inducing false codes. There may be a problem with the throttle system. At this point you are going to have to clear all the codes because you caused most of them. Once cleared try to start it a few times and then read the codes again.
