WHILE CAR IS DRIVING EVEN ON SMOOTH ROAD CAR MAKES BUMPING OR POPING SOUND LIKE IN THE WHEELS AS THOUGH I DROVE OVER POT WHOLE OR SOMETHING. i HAVENT HAD A BRAKE JOB IN ABOUT 75K MILES, BUT BRAKES SHOW NO WEAR, OR SYMTOMS. COULD THIS BE BRAKE SYMTOMS, OR A LL TOGETHER DIFFERNT PROBLEM?

Loose brake pads or missing anti-rattle hardware is easy to self-diagnose. Simply hold very light brake pedal pressure while driving in the conditions that make the noise occur.

Worn front outer anti-sway bar links used to be a real common problem. You will hear them the easiest by driving through a parking lot in a straight line. Turning the steering wheel in either direction will put pressure on their joints and stop the rattling. To inspect them, turn the wheels straight ahead, reach over the front tire, lightly wrap your fingertips around the link, then use your arm to raise the corner of the car a little. If the link is worn, you'll feel the knocking as you raise and lower the car.

105,000 miles is a little early to expect ball joint trouble on a Chrysler product, but an inspection still couldn't hurt. On some other domestic brands, you would have replaced the ball joints twice already in this many miles.

Struts are a definite possibility. One thing to look for is oil leaking from te top of the body where the shaft comes out. In some cases, you can push in and out on the top of the tire with one hand while using your other hand to feel the shaft right where it enters the body. If you feel sideways movement in the shaft, that's likely the noise you're hearing.
