I've just had both front and rear brake pads and rotors replaced but my problem is still here and I don't even know if it's brake-related. Every time I start moving in my parking structure, there are loud squealing and screeching (like metal rubbing on metal) sounds coming - as I can tell - from under the car and it's happening while the car is slowly moving FORWARD and my foot is NOT on the brake pedal but after I've usually pressed once-twice on the pedal (rolling backwards from my parking spot and then slowing down before a turn in the parking structure).
I have had this problem in places other than my parking structure where naturally there's an echo. But the squealing/screeching sounds are loud enough for me to hear on open street with my windows up.
It started shortly before I had my rear pads and rotors replaced but after I did so, this thing didn't go away. It's really tough to catch this squealing/screeching problem and my brake mechanic tells me the car is safe to drive and there's nothing wrong with the brakes. I asked if this may be suspension or axel related and he said no.
