I have a Chrysler 300m 2003, It has a noise in the motor, the noise sound like a cla, cla,. The noise sound like a truck that use diesel What is this? Is it serious?

Hi
A noise that you are describing is sign of a serious engine problem. If a tapping noise high in engine and goes with RPMS valve. If deeper knock then rod.

I still confused. The noise is static, and did not increase with the RPMS. What could be if the noise does not fit to your diagnosis? I woul like to have a more clear answer.
