My car is fine until I drive it about ten miles then it overheats and leaks coolant. What is causing this?

Get it block and pressure tested-When its leaking its gonna overheat you're losing coolant.

In mine someone replaced the radiator a while back and didn't conceal with wiring harness for the fans when they put everything back. Harness rubbed against a belt, exposed wiring, shorted. No fans means overheating if coolant gets too warm.
I read an article recently that had about a dozen things that can cause overheating. Some are simple, some are not.
Bad radiator cap - If not sealing, contents aren't under pressure and boiling point is lower than it should be.
Stuck Thermostat - If stuck closed, coolant is just circulating in the block and not making it to the radiator.
Fuses annd relays - Blow fuse to fan and you won't be cooling properly.
It would help to know what the weather is like for you when that happened (and I recognize this is an old post). If it is 32F out and you are overheating in 10 miles, that's not good. Low coolant/trapped air - something like that.
