Does this truck have an EGR?

My truck listed above failed an engine block test. I'm arranging to have a rebuilt engine installed, but first need to determine if this engine has an EGR because the engine block configuration is different with or without EGR. There is nothing like an EGR valve that I can find. However, it feels like there is an EGR gasket and cover on the back of the engine block. Does this mean the engine has EGR even if there is no valve, or does there have to be an actual EGR valve on the outside of the block?

I do not see an EGR valve, nor do they show one in the manual here are exploded views of the cylinder head and engine so you can see for yourself. Check out the diagrams (below).
