1. Why does the engine make that noise "tick" when starting. The dealer said it is piston slap. The noise does go away. I noticed on your web page someone esle has that same problem. I can only tell you that it gets worse and louder the colder the temperature but then it goes away. I have never heard a car sound like this and then the noise goes away.

2 Is there a major problem with the roof leaking some kind of way. My roof leaks and water gets all in the console.

3 The transmission whines and bumps as it changes gears from take off. Sometimes it starts whining while you are driving and you have to stop. Is this a problem lots of Ventures are experienceing?
Then if you turn off the car and remove the key, open the door to reset the system, and then reinsert the key and start the car. When you shift to drive the transmission will reset and drive normal. Is this just a bad vehicle?

4 The front windows have started having problems rolling up and down. Back widows barley open with the console control on ceiling. Middel windows rattle when opened. My GMC Jimmy has a problem with the driver window staying on track. So is this a GMC problem?

5 I replaced a craked intake manifold that was leaking.

I replaced my transmission and front axles at a cost of 2500. I also replaced the intake gasket. I have various problems with my van. Bad design model for holding up.
