1996 Chevy Van V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 125k miles

Without thinking, when trying to jump start my van with jumper cables, I touched the opposite terminals.
When I connected to the correct terminals and turned the key, nothing happened. Did I blow a fusible link, and if so, where is it. Thank You

Hello, can you give us the model designation of your van? Is it an Express or something else, I'm not sure it will make any difference. Maybe we can at least check you starter circuit. I don't know how far the damage might go?

One of the wires off the + battery post may go to a junction block with several fusible links, follow the circuit.
