battery light is on?

i have a 93 chevy lumina apv mini van and the battery light is on it has been flickering for about a month and just started draining batteries i changed the alternator and it still drained the battery changed the battery to the best i could buy and the light is still on i havent drove it yet to see if it drains the battery yet

Get the alternator load tested with a VAT-40 machine to make sure its putting out. Could also be a short within the electrical system draining the battery.
