hi my name is dalton ile i go to school at Bedford North Lawrence im in the automotive class here and i need to take off the steering wheel of a 83 chevy Gladiator and get the ignition switch off because there is a key stuck in the ignition and cant get out and we are putting a new ignition switch in so plz help me

Hi Ask your instructor for a steering wheel puller, if tilt wheel will also need tool to compress spring to remove lock plate. once off does cylinder rotate?If yes remove lock screw ,see diagram, rotate key cylinder will slide out. Hope this helps
