Brakes problem
2006 Chevy Uplander 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 95000k miles

Do I need to to remove the caliper mounting bracket to replace the rotor. I have the caliper of and hung out of the way but the bolts and the nouting brack are really tight. Does this bracket need to be removed or can I slip the rotor in by just taking the caliper off?

yes, you need to remove the brake caliper and the caliper mounting bracket as an assembly
