2005 Chevy Uplander Dash Lights

My Uplander has the dash lights go dim and flicker and while accelerating. After it reaches cruising speed, the lights don't seem to flicker. I'm afraid my headlights may be doing same thing. It has slowly gotten worse over the last few days. Where should I start looking and what should I be looking for. I'm afraid it may be an electrical problem somewhere.
