Try checking the ISC air bypass solenoid. Don' work when it dies out immediately look for spark and fuel one of this is gonna be missing. Also might want to check the fuel pressure could be the fuel pump getting sloppy. Also test out the ECU power relay

I want to thank you for your reponds to my truck problem, i sure hope that by checkiing these things it will work, thanks again! by the way where can i get the picture which you showed me?

@ www.ondemand5.com click on Mitchell1 top center of page and go from there should be on the left column for manuals next page.

Try to duplicate the problem this is the best time to catch the culprit on the act. When it stalls look for spark and fuel immediately don't give it a chance to rest look for it one of this is gonna be missing-

Do you have power at the coil positive terminal when key is in On position. if so how did you check the ignition control module? and where is it located? Also how did you check the pick-up coil in the distributor.

Double check all your connections to the distributor and module. The get back to me.

You changing all that stuffs that tells me you have a distributor.

This is how it goes on this type of ignition Dura Spark 1/2 The pick-up tells the computer the position of the pistons and engine speed when the computer gets it-it turns around and tell the ICM to fire that cylinder thru the coil.
