disconnect ABS

Chevy C/K 2500 7.4L - Can I disengage the ABS system and still safely drive/brake ? If so, what steps need to be taken.

it will operate and stop but i dont know how safe it would be in the winter or rainy roads. to do so which i dont recomend you would take off the. Rabs and abs modules and sensors off of your truck.
