chevy truck info

For the gauge-could be the sending unit in the tank. I assume the capacity of the tank maybe between 16-20gals-the more it takes the longer distance you go. Fuel Economy-depends on the engine conditions and the rest of the vehicle sub-systems. Hard to say where

My 88 3\4 ton chev with a 305 engine and 3spd auto trans gets about 12mpg. You prob won't get any better than 15mpg unless you have an overdrive transmission. My fuel tank holds about 26 gal.
