2000 Chevy Truck Clicking Noise While Accelerating

I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado 1/2 ton. I just had some differential bearings and gears replaced and a complete brake job done. I am now hearing a clicking noise, that has gradually gotten worse, from the rear end area. The noise is very sporadic, it does not happen all the time. When it does happen, it is only while accelerating. If I get off the gas, it goes away. I put in a new u joint, not it. Any ideas?

Has it done it in a turn before? if so it could be an issue with the diff. Have you pulled the wheels andlooked at everything and checked to be sure it is all tight?(brake mounting hardware).Since it started after the diff, have you had the shop that did the work look at it?

This noise was happening before the diff work and brake job was performed. I was hoping that this issue was somehow related to one of these areas, but it is still happening after the repairs. Very sporadic. Not any worse during turns. Happens after just starting cold and when vehicle is warmed up. Coming from somewhere underneath, but hard to pinpoint due to echoing.

Have you tried having someone ride with you to help locate it as far as front to rear goes?
