It's ECM-1 when i started the suburban this morning it hesitated before starting but started (it never did that before). Then when I tried to start it after work it wouldnt start so i checked the fuse because this happened before, the fuse was burnt so i replaced it. Then it burned out five more fuses before i gave up and called a tow truck.

there are only a couple possibilities according to the wiring diagram. the wire feeds the fuel pump relay and goes directly to computer. i have never seen a problem with wiring to computer but i have seen a ton of problems with fuel pumps and wiring to the fuel pump. start by unplugging fuel pump at the fuel tank and see if the short goes away, if it does then the problem is in the fuel tank, if the short is still there then the gray wire from the relay to the fuel pump is shorted to ground. **the gray wire also goes to the oil pressure sending unit so check wiring there also.
