differential axle seal?

When making a turn they seem to snap at the rear end which throws the truck to the left or right. It doesn't happen all the time and it doesn't matter if the trucks are loaded or if they are empty. Our mechanic says the gear oil is low due to the axle seal leaking so I was hoping you can help me change it out?

This is where you need to start is with the oil level. So I would correct the seal using this guide and the info below:

However, if this does not fix it then you have an issue with the limited slip that the clutches are grapping or worse that there is an issue with the rear end gears or axles.

I would start with fixing the seal and filling the rear end and go from there. Here are a couple more guides that will help with doing this:
