JUST STARTED LAST WEEK. VERY LITTLE HEAT COMING IN THROUGH THE VENT. HAD THERMOSTAT CHECKED. WORKING FINE. CAP STUCK ON RESERVOIR, BUT DON'T THINK THAT HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT. RADIATOR IS WORKING PROPERLY. AM THINKING IT'S EITHER THE HEATER CORE, OR AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM. DON'T KNOW. PLEASE HELP.

see if hot-cold door is working properly. Also see if heater hoses are hot while engine is warmed up, be careful

Here is a quick way to check if its the heater core or not.
First warm up the car and turn on the heat.
Then feel the 2 hoses going through the firewall to the heater hose.
If one is hot and the other is not.
You have a clogged heater core.
Also check your fluid level.
