Hey all...

I've got a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer 4WD that has about 90K miles on it. The heater just puts out lukewarm heat.

I changed the thermostat & antifreeze, but to no avail.

A coworker of mine said it might be the heater control valve, but wasn't sure. Also, couldn't find the location for it on the component search via autozone.com

Any other ideas / suggestions on what to do next?

Thanks.

I would suggest getting a service manual for the vehicle. Available from auto parts store about $20 or look a public library. This is a control cable problem.

Bruce,

I looked here on 2carpros after I posted my question & no similar situation answer was a control cable. They all pointed to heater core, control valve, etc. Where's the control cable & how do I change it?
