I would first check to see if there are any stored engine codes. Then you will need to check the fuel system for problems. A fuel pressure check, along with an injectoer coil test should be done. Also check the fuel pressure regulator vacuum hose for fuel. If it has fuel, replace the pressure regulator. Of course if the pressure is not being regulated replace the regulator. If an injector fails the coil test, replace the bad injectors.
