how much will i expect to pay to replace the head gasket 2.2 liter four cylinder

A shop would charge you 8hrs labor, But if you do it youre self, You could save youre self money, If you are gonna get it done by a shop, I would recommend getting a remanifactured cyl hd, It saves you alot of head aches down the road, also for that and the shop to do it youre looking at $1200 with taxes. Could be cheaper, Just a ball park figure.

good luck[/quote:f08b5c8f81]On a second note, I have changed my 95 engine head gasket no problem. Cost me about 150 dollars but that is with the gaskets and I changed motor mounts and net head bolts. (The gasket wasn't blown) The engine was rebuilt and they used the same bolts and they backed out and broke the seal therefor I lost fluid.
