I have a 1996 Chevy suburban with a 5.7 ltr. motor, it has 150000 miles. I am replacing the stock ignition coil with an Accel GM 96-01 remote supercoil. It puts out 6.4ohms, and 45000 volts. My question is, "Are there any concerns I should consider regarding overloading other electronic parts, and fry something else?" Please advise before I change the coil. Thx

Why are you changing it in the first place?. I only recommend OEM parts to go on anything other than a custom application

I was hoping it may improve power, not that it lacks any, but a friend suggested this, am I making a bad decision, and should just stick with the stock coil?
