My 350 vortec started running badly and I talked to a guy who has one as well. He told me to clean the egr valve up and replace the stock gasket with one that has a screen in it. Well, this increased my gas mileage and performance some what but didn't fix sputtering at heavy throttle applications. I have replaced cap, rotor, wires, plugs, fuel pump, fuel filter. Is there something to these engines that has been reported with this symptom? And if so, what is the fix?
