Driving to work the other day, truck stalled. I cranked but would not restart. Had truck towed home. Came home from work and gave TBI a shot of ether. Truck started right up and quit immediately. The ether would work every time but truck would quit immediately. I could not hear the fuel pump kick on at all. Later in the evening, I went out, turned the key and the fuel pump came on, the truck started right up. I tried the throttle but the truck would sputter under acceleration then finally quit. Have tried for three days now turning the key and no fuel pump sound and no start. As a side note, I had been having some issues with the battery not holding a charge before this no start issue arose. Battery is fully charged now and alternator has been tested good. Help please.

rasmataz, can I connect to the gray wire coming out of the fuel pump relay or do I have to go all the way back to the pump connector at the tank?

At the Fp relay socket jumper the gray and orange wire this will turn on the fuel pump if not the gray wire is open between the fuel pump connector and relay-If you have power on the gray at the pump and pump don't come on check the ground on it-which is the black and white wire if good the pump is gone-
