Engine Mechanical problem

my truck has been loading up and choking on itself the last couple of times that i have had it out. it starts to misfire and sputter untill it stalls. the first couple of times it would crank over and fire up again but now it just wont do it. it has a new fuel pump,filter,ignition modual, plugs, cap and rotor. at first i thought that maybe it was something in the gas tank but it must be a sensor but the check engine light wont trip and it is driving me insane. ive read some previous posts saying that it could be the map sensor but i dont believe that my truck has one. thanks for your help!
