trying to remove the torsion bars from the rear cross member can't get the bars out. what holds them in besides the presser bolts on the crossmember

Been a long time....Is the lower control arm out? cant remember but I think the bars go forward to come out, unload everything and remove the arm. Hopefully someone that is sure will chime in for ya

i know the arms pull forward if your working on the front but instead of pulling them forward i unboulted the cross member and i i'm trying to move the cross member back out of the way so i can get the transfer case out
