1990 Chevy Truck front end

1990 Chevy Truck V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1990 chevy1500 4x4 V8 5.7L half ton automatic. The truck was ramped and all tore up when I bought it a week ago. The front end is all messed up axle housing is broke pretty bad along with many other broken pieces.
I found a 1992 chevy 1500 4x4 V6 standard half ton at a friends junk yard and can get the front end pretty cheap.
What my question is, is can I swap the font end out of the V6 chevy into my V8 chevy
