when are the hoses removed on the side rail in the very narrow area and with what kind of tool?

and how far can i drop the tank with out ripping out the electrical plug in and ground wire- before unhooking them?

What many of us find a lot easier is to remove the 4 bed bolts on one side and loosen the 4 on the other side and tilt the bed to access the pump from the top.
