I thought 95 and up have a scan system, how do i have this scanned or how do they hook up to my truck, can i go to like auto zone and use one of theirs?

Ok, you said that in your first response. this helped, found out the coolant sensor was bad, all fixed now.

Just trying to help you here in the event it happens again-you can do it without autozone's help. Of course they can pull the code/s for you.
