1985 Corvette

I have a 1985 Corvette with 166K miles. It ran perfect despite the fact it uses a quart of oil every 600 miles. I had the hood painted and the body shop allowed a lot of stripped paint residue to get inside the engine compartment. They then powerwashed the engine without asking me. I picked the car up and it was missing very bad. I thought I had a fouled plug. It did not. The body shop agreed to pay for all of the repairs. I took it to the local Chevrolet dealership and two different mechanics could not figure out the entire problem. It runs much better; however, it still seems to miss or make a different noise when it is cold. When it is warm it seems to run perfect. It has a new distributor, distributor cap, rotor, custom sparkplug wires, spark plugs, coil and radiator fan switch. They checked compression, engine codes and the electrical part of the injectors. Also, I have used an expensive 2 part fuel injector cleaner. Do you know why it still sounds like it is missing when it is cold and at lower RPMs while driving? It does appear to have a hole in the right exhaust. I coated it with some high-temp metal repair. It didn't help. I keep thinking it is a sensor. Thank you very much.
