1962 Chevy Truck Grinding noise when accelerating

I have a 1962 Chevy c-10 and when a put it in gear and accelerate it makes a weird gringing noise and makes the truck shake?

Hi:
It sounds like a bearing problem. Check the output shaft on the trans and the pinion bearing for play.
