1961 Chevy Truck V8 Two Wheel Drive Manual
----------------------------------------------------------------
Truck runs but starts overheating, windshield fogs up and liquid starts pouring out into the floorboard and truck dies.
Do I need to replace the heater core and if so how do I go about doing that?

Hi there,

i sounds as if your heater core has hailed, as to the removal of the core, i have no information on that older truck to hand, but i feel that it should not be all that hard, have a good look under the dash and if you feel that you need some information re post here and i will try and look something up for you.

Its an old timer-find where the heater core is located and use your imagination on the removal process. Or you can just loop the heater hose and no more leaking core-but when winter comes you'll be needing it-
