I have a 1953 chevy 1 ton pickup (model 3800).

I am looking for a pair of spreader bars (struts?) for the parking brake, and also the part (pivot??) that attaches the cable to the drum.

Any ideas where I can find them? Have tried a couple of locations in Canada, and Jim Carter out of California with no luck.

Before the storm (Katrina) there used to be a salvage yard but it went under 30 feet of water and all the old vehicles are gone.

I wish I could remember the place around Sacramento. It was all old chevy parts.
