95 blazer steering

I recently started getting popping noises when I turn the wheel at a very slow speed. All things pointed to bad CV joints. I purchased new CV half shafts and got new hub assemblys, a new idler arm, and new ball joints. I have went through and greased all the joints as needed, but I am still getting the popping sound on turns. I have a 95 4x4 blazer 4dr, v6. I've had it looked at for the same problem by 2 different shops, they have no idea. It was a les schwab and a firestone. How can I get rid of the popping sounds? Please, anyone, help me with this! Bob, Ken, what do you think?

replace the lower ball joints. even though you've grease them, when they start to rust and bind under the boot, nothing will help till they're replaced. get the alignment checked afterwards. good luck

both upper and lower ball joints were replaced, about 2 months ago now, by les shwab...

sorry, i re-read your post and saw where you said you replaced the ball joints. i would also check all bushings and other steering parts. sometimes when you spray lubricant on the bushings throughout the steering and suspension the noise will go away, but only briefly. this can help pinpoint where the noise is coming from. a good penetrating/ lubricant to use is call (pb blaster). don't forget to check springs, shock bushings, etc. hope this is helpful. good luck
