95 blazer 4.3 parking lights stay on??

was it replaced with a new switch aand did the lights not go off before you replaced the switch??

yes it was replaced witha new switch still didnt go off .. also when switch was un plugged the lights stay on

uh oh , there is a short somewhere how are you on electrical problems , i can help but you would have to have some knowledge of 12v systems and diagnosis

im pretty good just not sure where to start on this,i wish i had the wiring diagram on it

ok , lets start here , there is one red wire from the fuse box to the headlight switch ,the parking lamp circuit is a brown wire and runs to the interior light and to the rear and splits off to the tail lamps,

i would pull the courtesy lamp fuse and see if the park lamps go out if they go out there is a problem inside like a short in the dome lamp
but either way there is a short to ground powering the park lamp circuit through the switch at all times

do you have a hitch and wiring if so check the brown wire there ive seen them rub the frame before ,
