The left turn signal works fine, however the right turn signal flashes a little faster on the insturment panel than the left. When you look at all the bulbs on the right side of the vehicle they are flashing, so there is not a burned out bulb. If you look at the tail light (right side) the brake and turn signal lamps alternate in flashing pattern. When you apply the brake they stop flashing and you can see that both backup lights are on very dim. I thought that the problem was the flasher unit so I replaced it and the problem still exists. I have also switched the tail light bulb assembly between the sides and the left still works correctly, but the right is still having the same issue. I verifed that the signal from the turn signal swicth is constant while this is happening. Also when you turn on the hazzard lights the left side works correctly, but the right still flashes fast and the back tail lights alternate as I have explained.
I have a repair manual and have looked at the schematics to try and trace down the problem, but I have run out of ideas.
