It sounds like you have an ac compressor that is locked up or locking up.

Here are two guides to help you see whats going on.

and

actually you could try this first.here is a bulletin.this is a common problem.Subject: Engine Stalls When Air Conditioning Is Turned On at Idle

Engine may stall with the air-conditioner on and or while adding additional loads to the engine at idle. An example of an addition load would be turning the steering wheel left or right with the air-conditioning on. This type of stall usually occurs during idle or slow parking lot maneuvers. This concern may not set any diagnostic trouble codes.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/throttle-actuator-service

Clean the throttle body bore and the throttle valve plate using a clean shop towel with GM top engine cleaner, GM P/N 1052626 (Canadian P/N 993026) or AC-Delco Carburetor Tune-Up Conditioner, P/N X66-P, or an equivalent product.

this might help.

Hello,

It sounds like you have a vacuum leak or a mass air flow sensor that has gone bad. Is there any codes?
Here are a few guides that will help you get the problem fixed.

Today my car cut off when I pressed on the brakes but allowed me to cut it back on and it did the same thing. One mechanic told me it could be my fuel pump because my gas hand also doesn't work correctly. What do you think ?

The only way you are going to know is to monitor a fuel pressure gauge while the problem occurs.

I was driving down the interstate after about 6 or 7 miles I couldn't get up to speed. Then the car started to sputter and wouldn't shift properly. Eventually I couldn't get the car past 50 miles an hour. The car idols fine and starts. It is not leaking anything. It ran fine in the morning going down the interstate shifted fine and ran perfectly normal. The day before it kind of did the same thing as this specific time. It was around 100 degrees out at the time. Could this be vapor lock or maybe a fuel pump or fuel filter?

Engine Performance problem
2005 Chevy Trailblazer 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 90,000 miles

I have a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer and over the last month or so I have had problem with it stalling when I am backing up out of the driveway or parking spaces. This does not happen very often, probably about 5 times in the last 6 weeks but it is not something that I can pinpoint to a particular action other than backing out of somehwere. I really dont have any warning that it is about to stall but the Trailblazer idle does seem to be lower than it had been in the past. I am not sure if I should be looking at an electrical problem or a tranmission problem. There are no indicator lights on , it just stalls and then starts right back up with no problems. I also do not hear any noises when it stalls or when I start it back up. I am totally confused. Please help

Once it cuts off, what do you have to do to get it going again? is there fuel present at the injectors when it cuts off? (I know this is a little involved, but these are some general questions which come to mind). Hopefully we can continue to communicate until we've narrowed it down significantly. And eventually cured!

When I turn the switch it just clicks and I tried turning the motor and the motor want turn. What is the problem? The vehicle wants to start I have had someone to check they say it could be the motor or the starter. I do not know which one it is. Engine Performance problem
2005 Chevy Trailblazer 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 39000 miles

Hello, my 2005 chevy trailblazer has recently started to act up when driving it. Although, it does not happen all the time. Sometimes when you start from a stop, it will act as if it wants to die. For example, starting from a red light, pushing the gas pedal, it acts like it wants to die, but only for a sceond and then it goes back to normal. Also, when i made a turn, slowing down for the turn and then pushing the gas pedal down to make the turn, it acted the same way like it wanted to die. Does this sound like the fuel injectors need a real good cleaning, maybe replace the fuel filter and/or clean the throttle body? Does the O2 sensor have anything to do with this type of behavior? Or is it a totally different type of problem? I asked the same question to the just answer website and they were zero help, so please forgive me if I do not donate immediatley. Thanks.

Possibilites are numerous the best way to find out is to have truck hooked up to a diagnostic scanner and check all the computer controled devices. Your symptoms do not give enough info for any definate repair.

Has the check engine light come on? The compressor places a load on the engine, but not enough to shut it. Also, the computer should compensate for the load by reving the engine.

It could be. However, that will usually set the check engine light. But, it is a good place to start.

Let me know what you find.

Electrical problem
2005 Chevy Trailblazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 22800 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I just purchased a new/used 2005 trialblazer LT v6 fully loaded 2 weeks ago ... I first started to notice a problem when i would start the car after it sat for awhile . I would start the car and the headlights would flicker maybe once every 5 seconds. I started to notice that the volts would drop from 14 to 12 or 13ish and then shoot back up to 14 15ish.. I used to work on cars previously so i know this was not a good thing . . After about 3 days of this, i woke up one morning and i started the car and it shot to 10 volts for like 5 seconds and then shot up to 14 and started doing the flicker thing ... the next morning i started the car and it did the flicker thing and then my radio shut off and restarted .
at this point i called the dealership and i took it in. They claim that it was a bad ground. Again this did not sound right to me. I took the car home not satisfied with the answer. That night i went to start the car and go for a spin . I started the car and it flickered once or twice so i was a little worried. I put the car in reverse and the car stalled out as i was reversing. To me it sounds like a short or a computer problem . Any ideas? please help

Well so far i have gotten a ground on circuit d221 replaced (??) , the ground on the fender(connected to the battery) replaced, Power Fuses (under the hood ) replaced , ignition switch replaced, and alternator regulator replaced as well . I will know by this week if any of those were the problem...i will keep you updated

My 2005 chevy trailblazer started to do the same thing. The lights would dim on and off or around 5 seconds before returning to normal. I took it to advance auto and they hooked a meter up to the battery to test the alternator. They said my alternator was about shot. I replaced the alternator and all seems to be working good.

If it refuses to start don't wait for nothing- do below to find out if its fuel or spark problem that's causing it not to start-something has to give.

Get a helper disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine atleast 3/16 away from ground-have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel related problem, check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter/fuel pump/pressure regulator and listen to the injector/s are they pulsing or hook up a noid light. No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, coil's resistances, cap and rotor, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors and computer Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it.
