2005 Trailblazer was broken into and someone tried to start it by popping off the steering column cover and I don't know what else. The battery was dead this morning so I threw in the batt from my truck.

I can now use the keyless entry and I followed the steps to set the anti-theft alarm but the "lock" symbol stays on when the key is turned to "on"

The owners manual says that when the ign is tampered with the fuel system shuts down.. I'm assuming there is a fuse hidden somewhere (I checked every fuse under the hood) and that is where I am at now.

The manual says that I need to take it the dealership but I won't have the money to even get it towed until next Friday, let alone for the repairs.

**Update: I was told that if I disco the batt and touch the leads from the car together then wait an hour it will clear and reset the system. If that doesn't work he said that there is a "code" somewhere by the fuse panel that I can punch into the radio??**

I'm going to try both in the morning...
