2004 Chevy Trailblazer four wheel drive noise

Happy New Year. I have a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer and when I shift into 4WD I get a whining noise at about 30mph. I just purchased this vehicle from a used car dealer. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Glenn

To some extent, it is normal to hear a different sound from the gears because there are different one engaging. Is the noise excessice or are there changes in the vehicle other than the sound?
