2003 Chevy Trailblazer Brake Lights

I have a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer. My Top Brake lite works but the two below do not. I have replaced the light bulbs but still do not work, also check all fuses. What is my problem?

Check the sockets for the brake lights. They have problems with poor connections at the bulbs.
You will usually see the bulb has burn marks on it at the contact points.

2002 has a recall for this problem. you may want to check on the03
