Steering Problem

2002 Chevy Tahoe 4x4 with a 5.3 liter engine and 50k miles. when turning the vehicle to the left the power steering is fine. but when turning to the right it doesnt work at all.

I haven't run into this problem myself but I found the steering wheel position sensor, or the power steering pressure sensor could be causing the problem. Have your car scanned for trouble codes.
