99 Tahoe Blows turn signal fuse

i have a 99 tahoe 4dr with 4wd with 126k miles..... my turn signal fuse blows after 10 or so mins from being in....it blows as soon as i put it in if the truck is on but doesn't when its off....in conjuction my reverse lights don't work but my tail lights do....i do have a trailer hitch and electrical outlet.....not sure what to do any help??

had something like this happen with my wifes truck, check the wiring to the trailer connection. If you don't find any crossed wires make each wire and then disconnect each one. This will rule out if the wires ar hooked up wrong. If you find out that this is still happening somewhere. with the trailer on had this happened before? What kind of connection do you have a round plug or a flat 4 wire plug?
