Steering problem
2004 Chevy Tahoe V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic
We have noticed a howling and whining from the power steering, fluid level is low and the front of the pump and the back of the pulley are both saturated.Wondering if the seal on the pump can go bad without the bearing going out, as the pulley has no play in it. If this is the case my question is what is the proper method for removing the pulley to be able to get the pump out for seal replacement? Is the allen bolt in the center the way to go about this, and if so, how would I hold the pulley without bending it?
