My tahoe will barely start and when it does it says the engine is running on half power. What does this mean?

Does it say it is in reduced power mode?

YES! It says engine running at reduced power.

Have it scanned for trouble codes and post the codes for me. You will probably find a code for the TAC module.

How much should this cost to have it scanned? Is adding injector fluid to the engine a good thing?
